Sacrament Preparation Program 25-26

This year, our program will consist of 3 in-person meetings/classes in the fall before celebrating the sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession). We will then have 3 in-person meetings/classes in the spring, along with our half-day retreat, before celebrating First Eucharist/First Communion. The curriculum we are using is Encounter with Christ.
A parent/guardian is expected to stay with their child for the class, as it is designed to be done together/alongside each other. There will be some lessons sent home to be worked on as a family. Our sacrament preparation lessons will NOT take place during the same time as our Faith Formation/CCD classes (this is a change from previous years).
It is recommended that children seeking the Sacrament of First Eucharist be enrolled in a Religious Education Program for two years or enrolled in Catholic school.
We often have older children preparing as well - any children who are not yet teenagers can participate in this program.
